Koh Samui region
Na Mueang (also commonly written Na Muang, Thai: ตำบลหน้าเมือง) is one of the seven subdistricts of Koh Samui District, Surat Thani Province. It is located mainly in the southern and south-central part of Koh Samui and is known for its natural scenery, tropical hills, waterfalls, coconut plantations, traditional communities, and quieter atmosphere compared with the major tourist centers such as Chaweng, Bophut, and Lamai. Koh Samui Municipality confirms that Na Mueang is one of the seven tambons administered within the City Municipality of Koh Samui.
